Single-ended or differential adapters are available for connecting to either the E5378A or E5379A target connector. Each adapter type is available in a short, rigid design that maximizes signal quality or in a flexible design that maximizes the mechanical flexibility of the adapter. All adapters come with the required hardware for modifying P68xx probes for back-to-back 2X-Probing.

All NEX-SAMXX adapters use Nexus Technology's 2X-Probing feature which converts P68xx probes to allow for back-to-back probing. This feature allows twice as many signals to be routed to the same area. All required hardware is provided. For more information see NEX-2X-PROBE.
All adapters have zero-ohm, series resistors close to the Samtec connector. If it is determined that a specific application requires series resistors to help isolate the effect of the adapter, the zero-ohm resistors can be replaced with resistors of the appropriate value.
