FBDIMM NEXVu & Software

The FBD NEXVu product line allows for acquisition of Address/Command, Read and Write Data of DDRII data between the NEXVu's FBD AMB and the DDRII memory. FBD NEXVus are currently available in Raw Card B and C forms. Please contact us for support for other Raw Card formats.

The FBD NEXVu are extended, FBDIMMs designed to JEDEC standards with logic analyzer probe points. This design provides unmatched signal fidelity and allows the capture of the actual eye-patterns, as seen by the memory components.

Selective Clocking stores data when Commands are present and for thirteen clock cycles after Column Address assertion, resulting in more DDRII Bus Cycle activity and fewer Idle cycles stored in acquisition memory.

Simultaneous state and timing on every channel of the TLA.

Pre-defined Symbols for easy Trigger Setup for the following Command Cycles: Read Col Address Read, Write Col Address Write, Mode Register Set, Row Address Strobe, No Operation, Ignore Command Data, Burst Stop, Refresh, Precharge, and Precharge Select Bank.

FBD NEXVu Overview

Our FBD NEXVus are extended, FBDIMMs designed to JEDEC standards with logic analyzer probe points. These products are not interposers which differentiates them from our FBD LAI interposers. FBD NEXVu's act as a normal FBDIMM (no LAI mode) and also provide direct logic analyzer connections to the DDRII bus between the FBD AMB and the DDRII memory components. FBD NEXVu products are ideal for customers wishing to gain visibility of the memory signals but are not concerned with the overall activity of the FBD serial link.

Passive component populated NEXVu DIMM that is fully populated with everything except the memory components. This option is available for customers who wish to solder on their own memory components.

DDRII 667MT/s Read and Write Acquisition Requires
- TLA Application Software V4.2 or later
  - Three, merged, 450MHz state speed acquisition modules (TLA7AA4 or TLA7AB4)
  - Four P6860 probes
  - Four P6864 probes
