Nexus Technology is proud to announce a new family of interposers designed to meet the rigorous demands of testing high-speed memory technologies, including LPDDR5, LPDDR6, and DDR5, and DDR6. Engineered for performance and precision, these interposers support data rates exceeding 10 Gbps—such as those seen in cutting-edge DDR5-12000 and LPDDR5X-14400 implementations—enabling seamless signal access for oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other advanced test equipment. This product family empowers engineers to validate, debug, and optimize next-generation memory systems with unparalleled accuracy and efficiency.

Key Features

High-Speed Compatibility: Supports LPDDR5, LPDDR6, DDR5 and DDR6 standards, with signal integrity maintained at speeds exceeding 10 Gbps, aligning with the latest memory specifications (e.g., LPDDR5X [JESD209], DDR5 [JESD79-5]).

Robust Signal Access: Provides low-loss, high-fidelity probing points for critical signals, including data (DQ), command/address (CA), and clock lines, ensuring minimal impact on system performance during testing.

New Flying-Lead Analyzer Probe

Nexus Technology announces the PRB-FL-20 probe. This probe enables flying-lead connectivity of modern and emerging memory technologies to leading-edge memory analysis systems. Specifically, the probe enables acquisition and analysis of DDR5, LPDDR5(X), LPDDR4(X), and LPDDR6 memory buses using a MA5100 series real-time memory analyzer.

Typically, connectivity is accomplished by using interposers with a single, high-density probe connection and not flying-lead probes. Interposers with high-density probes are often the recommended probing method because they provide better signal fidelity for the considerable number of probe points that must be simultaneously probed. In addition, they provide a more convenient and reliable connection than flying-lead probes. However, there are cases when a flying-lead probe may be preferred. An example is when using a high-speed oscilloscope. This equipment uses an oscilloscope interposer, which does not have a single, high-density probe connection. When an oscilloscope interposer is already attached to a target, there may be a preference to reuse this interposer to acquire data with the real-time analyzer. Two other use cases for the flying-lead probe are emerging memory technologies/form factors and when the target board provides features that allow flying-lead probing connection. MA5100 Analyzer

The PRB-FL-20 probe is designed for use with Nexus’ MA5100 series analyzer. This analyzer enables DDR5, LPDDR5, LPDDR4 and LPDDR3 performance, margins and capture up to LPDDR5X-8533, LPDDR5-6400, LPDDR4(X)-4267 and LPDDR3-2133. The analyzer’s key features include 1G-Sample acquisition depth, ClockSafe™ and Single Smart Frequency or Sixteen Smart Frequency Analysis.
