NEX-PCMCIA
The NEX-PCMCIA Bus Adapter provides clocking, setup, symbolic display of information, and a quick convenient connection to the PCMCIA bus. The PCMCIA adapter plugs into any type I, II, or III PCMCIA slot.
Symbolic Disassembly: After an acquisition is made the PCMCIA support identifies the type of transaction that occurred. For example, it will identify Reset, Wait cycles, MEM RD/WRT, I/O RD8/WR8, and I/O RD16/ WR16.
Timing Analysis: By acquiring data in asynchronous mode on the Tektronix Logic Analyzer, high speed accurate timing measurements can be made of the PCMCIA Bus.
Correlating Bus Activity: While the NEX-PCMCIA package is being used to monitor the PCMCIA backplane activity, another acquisition module can be used to monitor activity elsewhere in the system. The results of the two acquisitions can be correlated in time to determine the sequence of actions that occurred. For instance, the system microprocessor could be monitored and correlated with bus activity to verify the proper response to an external interrupt condition.
Selectable DUT Power Supply: Power supplied to the DUT (Device Under Test) is jumper selectable. It can be provided from the target system or from an external power supply through terminal block connections on the NEX-PCMCIA adapter.
